A CIZHOU PAINTED ‘FLORAL’ PILLOW
Jin dynasty
Of elongated curved octagonal form, the top of the pillow gently
angled and dipping slightly in the middle, covered in ivory-colored slip
that drips down the sides and incised with double lines to create four
panels, each panel freely painted in brown slip with floral sprays and
foliage.
