A PARCEL GILT-BRONZE ‘TAOTIE’ TRIPOD CENSER
Ming dynasty
Cast with a deep bowl shape, the sides tapering inwards towards
the lipped rim, set with upright opposing loop handles, the body
divided into three lobes, each cast with a taotie mask accent with gilt
highlights, all supported on three tall tapering legs.
