17th century
The table top decorated with palatial buildings, terraces, and fenced
walkways with a backdrop of pine and willow and misty mountains, the
terraces with a crowded scene of numerous figures at various tasks,
and with further figures dispersed amidst the building levels, a narrow
waist with cloud piercings and with numerous figural landscape scenes
on the apron, above large cabriole legs with ‘pearl’ terminals.
