19th/20th century
Comprising: a bottle carved in relief with a panel depicting a lady
in a garden, the reverse with pavilions in a landscape; a bottle of
compressed baluster form, carved with butterflies amongst lilies; and
another with exotic birds amongst blossoming prunus, stoppers, ivory
and wood stands.
The largest 8cm (3.1/8in) long including stopper. (9).

A JAPANESE POLYCHROME IVORY SNUFF BOTTLE AND A
CHINESE CLOISONNÉ SNUFF BOTTLE
19th/20th century
The ivory bottle decorated in reserve with elegant ladies in a flowering
and blossoming garden, on a black ground, within carved polychrome
borders, Qianlong seal mark to the base; the cloisonné bottle with
lotus flowers borne on leafy, scrolling stems on a red ground.
The ivory bottle 9cm (3.1/2in) high including stopper. (4).

A LARGE CARVED IVORY ‘HUNDRED BOYS’ SNUFF BOTTLE
19th century
The tapering bottle finely carved to the exterior in relief with many boys
playing in a terraced garden, all raised on a lappet bordered foot rim,
matching foliate carved stopper.
