                    vessels; a tea-dust glaze compressed water
                    pot and an olive-glazed garlic-head vase;
                    a small iron-glazed stoneware garlic head
                    vase; a copper-mounted crackle-glazed bowl;
                    a blue conical bowl, Xuande six-character
                    mark, Kangxi; a famille verte square section
                    conical bowl, Xuande four-character mark;
                    together with a blue and white high-footed
                    dish decorated with gourd vines, Jiajing six-
                    character mark, 17th century.
                    The olive-glazed vase: 14.5cm (5 5/8in) high
                    (10).

                    DRAGONS’ PETALLED DISH
                    18th/19th century
                    Rising from a recessed foot ring to gently
                    flaring, petalled sides, the centre with pale
                    and darker blue confronting dragons besides
                    a central flaming pearl, the base with an
                    incised double circle.
