          TIBET, 15TH-16TH CENTURY                            ready to swiftly come to the aid of her devotees. The present gilt-bronze fgure
          5√ in. (17.5 cm.) high
                                                              is an elegant depiction with a unique and charming detail: an in-turned right
                                                              foot. The simple execution of her jeweled ornaments and skirt, along with the
          $20,000-30,000                                      multi-layered and well-cast lotus-petals, evidence the fne workmanship of the
                                                              ffteenth and sixteenth centuries.
