A PALE GREEN JADE TWO-HANDLED
‘PRUNUS’ CUP
Ming Dynasty
Smoothly carved with deep rounded sides,
supported on a short slightly tapered foot ring, each
side with a high-relief carving of gnarled prunus
branches each with a flowering blossom, the
stone of pale green tone with brown-grey patches,
huanghuali stand.
