Of shaped rectangular form, enamelled in
the centre with a lady standing in a fenced
terrace whilst holding a flute, inscribed with a
cyclical date corresponding to 1888, year of
戊子 Wuzi, bearing signature and seal. 25cm

PLATES
Dated 1961 and 1964, and signed Zhang
Shibao (1909-1987) and Zhang Jingshou (b.
1920) respectively
Each thickly potted in a shallow form,
standing on a tall circular foot, enamelled
to the centre with sparrows on rockwork,
among wisteria and peonies respectively,
below a black hatched pattern border to the
rim.

The vase of cylindrical form, enamelled with a
monkey clambering up a pine tree, with long
colophon and bearing signature and two red
seals, with renwu year date; the hotpot and
cover enamelled with a continuous scene
of long-tailed birds perched atop flowering
prunus, inscribed, bearing signature and a
red seal. The vase: 25.5cm (10in) high (3).
