TWO BLANC-DE-CHINE FIGURES OF GUANYIN
‘xu xin de men’ shop mark (1750-1800) and 19th century
The first seated holding a ruyi sceptre, wearing voluminous flowing
robes, the hair tied in tresses to each side, falling over the shoulders,
impressed mark to the reverse; the second figure modelled standing,
the robes with a scalloped collar and tied at the waist.
The standing figure 34.5cm (13.5/8in) high. (2).

A BLUE-GLAZED ALTAR VESSEL AND MATCHED COVER, DOU
Qianlong and Jiaqing seal marks and of the periods
The vessel raised on a broad flaring foot, moulded in shallow relief
with bands of archaistic motifs, lappets and ‘C’ curls, the domed
cover surmounted by a knop finial encircled by ruyi lappets and a key
fret border. 26cm (10.1/4in) high x 16.5cm (6.1/2in) wide. (2).
