the russet glaze falling short of the foot, the
recessed base glazed.

Song Dynasty
The first moulded with a central medallion
and six panels of flowering lotus and foliage
to the interior, covered in a blue-tinged glaze;
the second with rounded sides rising from a
short foot, delicately carved to the exterior
with freely drawn lotus sprays, the glaze
falling short of the rim and pooling to a deep
turquoise blue around the foot.
The largest 17cm (6.5/8in) diam. (2).

Song/Yuan Dynasty
The cover with moulded decoration of leafy
flowering lotus above a key-fret band at the
rim, the box with lobed sides, covered overall
in a glassy, pale blue glaze stopping short of
