SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279) ‘LOTUS’ DISH

The ewer is potted with straight sides supported on a broad foot NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY (960-1234)
ring rising to a slanted shoulder and tubular neck, applied to the
shoulder with a gently curved spout and upright strap handle; the With shallow rounded sides, the interior is finely moulded with
cylindrical cover is surmounted by a mythical beast-form finial, a central medallion of lotus plants and water weeds encircled by
