The poem inscribed on the brush pot decorated PROPERTY FROM A DISTINGUISHED AMERICAN COLLECTION
with the archer and equestrienne may be
translated, 'In the past, there was Zhao Qianli. 1067
Today we attempt to paint his heroic bearing'. The A PAIR OF FAMILLE VERTE ROULEAU VASES The bright glazes and fine painting are very similar to those on a vase also
famous Southern Song painter Zhao Qianli was a KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) dated to the Kangxi period in the Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in The
relation of the Song imperial family.
