The sea creature motifs and crashing
wave ground found on the current alms
bowl are very similar to the decoration on
a bronze vase in the Victoria and Albert
Museum Collection, with a punched
inscription dating to 1173, illustrated
in Rose Kerr, Later Chinese Bronzes,
London, 1990, nos. 46 and 47.

宋 銅海獸紋缽
銅缽上之海獸紋與維多利亞及艾伯特博
物館珍藏一件銅雙耳瓶上之紋飾非常類
近，該瓶近足處鑿有紀年，相等於1173
年，著錄於Rose Kerr著《Later Chinese
Bronzes》，倫敦，1990年，圖版編號 210
46及47。
