the sixteen plate hoshi bachi, eight gilt shinodare, riveted
mabisashi [peak], six-tier itazane shikoro [neckguard] with
sugake-odoshi lacing, the fukigaeshi [turnbacks] with applied
kikyo mon all lacquered black
Accompanied by a certificate of registration Juyo Token
[Important Armour] by the Nihon Kacchu Bugu Kenkyu Hozon-
kai [the Association for the Research and Preservation of
