A PALE CELADON JADE ‘MYTHICAL
BEAST’ GROUP
18TH CENTURY

The group is carved as a horned mythical
beast, its bushy tail ficked over its
haunches, a similar, smaller creature at its
side with a lotus spray in its mouth. The
stone is of an even tone with small russet
inclusions.
