A FLAMBÉ-GLAZED MALLET-FORM VASE
19TH CENTURY

The vase is covered in a rich fambé glaze of reddish-purple tone,
with splashes of bluish-purple to the shoulder and neck, thinning
to bluish-cream at the mouth rim and stopping at the foot.
