AN INSIDE-PAINTED ‘MAGPIE AND PRUNUS’ SMOKEY
CRYSTAL SNUFF BOTTLE
SIGNED YE ZHONGSAN, DATED DINGCHOU YEAR,
CORRESPONDING TO 1937
The bottle is delicately painted with magpies amongst
blossoming prunus branches, with an incised fower spray to the
reverse. It is inscribed with the date, artist’s name and seal.
