sprays, Kangxi six-character marks; a set
of four bracket rimmed dishes with ladies in
gardens within moulded pomegranate-form
1 border panels reserved with flower sprays;
and two blue and white dishes with ladies
on pavilion terraces, Chenghua six-character
marks.

Wanli to Kangxi
Comprising: two bracket rimmed dishes with
moulded petal form floral border panels, each
painted with two ladies at leisure in pavilion
gardens, Kangxi six-character marks; four
blue and white plates with ladies strolling
and in conversation in gardens, within border
panels of fruit sprays and precious objects on
geometric grounds, two with Jiajing marks
2 and two with Kangxi marks; a small Kraak
ware bowl; and a provincial Ming bowl.

Kangxi to Qianlong
Comprising: five ‘Queen Mother of the
West’ dishes, with central leaf-form panels
amongst scattered precious objects; a pair
of octagonal floral dishes; three dishes en
suite with birds in fenced gardens; and seven
dishes and four plates en suite with exotic
birds in a pavilion garden of plantain, peonies
and rockwork.
