A ZITAN ARCHAISTIC OCTAGONAL CUP 清十八世紀 紫檀雕饕餮紋八方盃
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
of octagonal section, the round facetted sides rising from a
stepped foot to an everted rim, well carved to the exterior
in shallow relief with a band of taotie masks reserved on a
leiwen ground, below a band of keyfret around the rim
