A CARVED RED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
IMPERIAL GLASSWORKS, BEIJING, 1730-1820
The transparent ruby-red bottle is carved on either side
with a circular convex panel surrounded by concave facets,
and with a band of convex facets in the narrow sides.

The bottle is decorated in the Ming style with an overall lotus
scroll beneath a pendent ruyi border at the neck.
