The present lot depicts the famous fight on Gojo Bridge
in the moonlight between Benkei, the warrior monk
who mistakenly thought he was going to collect his one
thousandth sword, from the innocent-looking young
Yoshitsune (also kwon as Ushiwakamaru) who had been
taught the magical power of leaping by the tengu.
