QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
the rst a double-gourd vase covered in a dense foliate
scroll save for white bands above and below each bulb of
the gourd, the base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark,
the second an archaistic garlic-neck vase with lappets
bearing stylized taotie masks and shou characters, the
base with an apocryphal Kangxi mark (2)

the exterior painted blue with a band of S-scrolls with
ruyi-head terminals, above a feathery hibiscus scroll, the
center of the interior bearing a hibiscus spray enclosed in
a double circle, the base with a six-character mark within
a double circle
