Passionate about Chinese art and culture,
the owners of the present collection
paid several visits to important Chinese
artists of the twentieth century during
the 1980s, including Cheng Shifa, Zhu
Qizhan and Xie Zhiliu. The three
paintings presented here were directly
acquired from the artists when the
couple visited Cheng Shifa and Zhu
Qizhan in the summer of 1987.
