AN EXTREMELY RARE PAIR OF LONGQUAN TOBI SEIJI
GARLIC-MOUTH BOTTLE VASES
YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368)
Each vase is well potted with a compressed globular body rising from a splayed foot to a long slender
neck ending in a garlic-head mouth, covered overall with a fine lustrous glaze of sea-green tone. The
exterior is decorated with dark iron-brown splashes.
