To the Organizers and Attendees of the Texas On-Site Wastewater Conference:
Greetings!
On behalf of the City Council and the citizens of Waco, Texas, it is my pleasure to
welcome you to the City of Waco. We are honored that you have chosen Waco to
host this year’s Texas On-Site Wastewater Conference.
Waco is located in the Heart of Texas and has a downtown entertainment district,
dozens of museums and attractions, and some of the friendliest people in the state.
Downtown Waco was recently designated as a Texas Cultural District by the Texas
Commission on the Arts; and the Waco Mammoth National Monument is one of the
newest additions to the National Parks system. The City of Waco is a great place to
visit, shop, and explore history.
During your convention, you will certainly create new memories, strengthen
friendships, and build social networks. I hope you have time to enjoy the many
opportunities Waco has to offer. I trust you will enjoy your time while visiting our
city.
