A2 ANALYTICAL COMPOSITION

After learning about the basics of Photoshop, we were then
introduced to digital drafting through softwares such as AutoCAD.
The next assignment for our 2D CAD class required us to digitalise our
section, elevation and plans of our semester 1 final project
assignment. The project involved a folly design in Kuala Lumpur
Botanical Garden that was drafted and rendered manually.

The initial part of the assignment was to trace the image into
AutoCAD to create a digital line drawing. These line drawings were
accompanied with title blocks to allow viewers to understand the
          contexts of the drawings presented.

A finalised line drawing was then exported to Photoshop to
produce a rendered visual aid of our design. Students were exposed
to a mixed medium of technical and visual communication. This
allowed students to explore and find a balance between these form
of communication to best express their design.

                                                                                                                  Assignment type
