MOHAMMAD FIQRI
“Based on floor plan drawing, there a cluster of spaces organised linerly. At the ground floor,
there are sleeping, cooking and fishing area. On the first floor, there is another fishing deck. The
CADWORK elevation of folly portray the building facade with timber texture. Lastly is the section to show
the connection between material that has been used and to experimenting on argometric
and anthropometry of the spaces. All above has been drawn manually, common stationary
such as pen and set square was used to produce the lines. Pencil colour also was used to
apply context and rendering.“All digital drawing produced by me is by using software
autocad. I transform the manual drawing into a vector line drawing. Generally, to transform
manual drawing into digital drawing involve a few of step. Firstly, I have to get a manual
drawing in JPEG format. So I’m using a free file format converter website to convert my
drawing file from PDF into JPEG. Secondly, I start to attach the JPEG file into autocad and I start
to trace back all the line. At this stage I start to learn how to use some basic tools from autocad
such as line, trim, offset and stretch from the command box. At the same time I have to use
SECTION some different kind of line weightage. After finish it I continue with information pertaining to the
drawing such as dimension and title block. Lastly I save all my work in DWG and PDF format.”
