ISO 9001:2015.
During the reporting year, the Supervisory
Board also monitored the compliance of the
Executive Body of UZCE with the principle
of disclosure of information on the securities
market in accordance with the procedure
established by the Law of the Republic of
Uzbekistan “On Joint-Stock Companies and
Rights of Shareholders”.
Executive body
The Director General acting in accordance
with the “Regulations on the Executive Body
of “Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange”
JSC is the sole Executive body of UZCE.
The Director General of UZCE is appointed
by the decision of the Supervisory Board.
The decision to appoint the Director General
is usually based on a competitive selection
process open to foreign managers.
The Director General is responsible, inter
alia, for:
GEND organization of implementation
of decisions of the General Meeting of
Shareholders and the Supervisory Board;
GEND approval of the staff, issuance of orders
and instructions binding on all employees of
UZCE;
GEND approval of internal normative
documents of UZCE within the limits of its
authority;

Executive Body, financial statements, extracts
from decisions of the Supervisory Board
meetings and other information were provided
to shareholders on a regular basis. Also, these
reports and significant facts related to the
holding of general meetings of shareholders
and other activities of UZCE were regularly
posted on the Unified Corporate Information
Portal and on the official website of UZCE.
GEND admission to participate in exchange
trading and suspension of members of UZCE;
GEND insurance of business risks of UZCE and
liability of the Executive Body;
GEND solving other issues of the management
of the current activity of UZCE, except for
the issues referred to the competence of the
General Meeting of Shareholders and the
Supervisory Board in accordance with the
legislation.
The Executive Body also submits for
consideration by the Supervisory Board the
issues of exclusion from the membership of
UZCE, verifies the professional qualifications
of UZCE traders, participating in exchange
trading.
