to pull away from you to join with God, who will never accuse me of any
                    wrongdoing nor leave me in the hands of unworthy liars and accusers.”
                       The passengers were awestruck and implored the shaykh to tell them how
                    he had managed to rise to such a glorious stature.
                       “I’ve never doubted the words of darvishes and shaykhs to begin with!”
                    he stated reproachfully. “I’ve never accused the poor of wrongdoing, nor have
                    I ever bothered God with the trifl ing affairs of this world, like you have!”
                       Before the passengers could ask him anything further, the shaykh van-
                    ished into thin air, as if he had never been there at all.
