Page 108 - Louisiana Loop (manuscript Edition)
P. 108
Though this first part of this trip I’ve already been here before every time I come across it it’s as though brand new
because after all the Mississippi River when it floods washes everything brand new or at least so the story goes.
I’ll admit some things remain the same but pretty much a lot changes on a consistent basis so I enjoy the panorama of
the sky the water the land in the river itself as I enjoyed each and every sunset and sunrise on the Louisiana Loop.
George Hawkins a friend of mine in Northern Minnesota, lives on the Mississippi River, and every morning for the most
part posts a picture of the sunrise from his location on the Miss. It is never the same, and I love it.
That is one of the extraordinary things about the Mississippi North South East or West. It is changing and whether you
can admit it or not……...so are you.
