Page 161 - Louisiana Loop (manuscript Edition)
P. 161
They say that a picture is worth 1000
words but even with 1000 words
sometimes it’s hard to describe some
of the things that you see and
experience especially when it comes
to the great outdoors in the Great
American adventures that you can
find on the Mississippi River and in
the Louisiana Loop.
This is been one of the most exciting
times for me because I already have
previous experience of going down
the Mississippi River and have
learned a lot of what to enjoy and to
look forward to as well as being able
to spend the time to simply relax to
see the view, to take pictures of the
areas that I’m now traveling in .
Pictures will make for you a lasting
memorial no memory can recall and
no story can retell.
So in many ways a picture is worth a
thousand words and if a thousand
words accompany that picture then I
hope it is to inspire someone to go
out and be a part of an adventure of
their own making and discovering.
The lessons of Tom Sawyer and
Huckleberry Finn are that right
around your corner where you are an
adventure is just waiting for you to
participate in it and become the
central character in the narrative.
It really is up to you and all you have
to do on the Mississippi River really
is just go do it, the rest falls into
place.
