STRENGTHS

X A 3-month prospective study evaluating Tritherapy Latanoprost in addition to DTFC or
LTFC.

X The results of this study showed that each of the three treatments reduced the mean 24
h pressure curve from the latanoprost baseline.

X The three treatments compared directly, the dorzolamide/timolol fixed combination and
latanoprost/timolol showed a lower IOP including: the mean 24 h pressure, maximum,
minimum and individual time points.

WEAKNESSES

X This 3-month treatment study did not evaluate the long-term efficacy and visual outcomes
with these three treatments.It is possible that a design encompassing long-term effects
would show different results.

X The study did not evaluate a latanoprost/timolol fixed combination dosed in the morning
which might have provided different results.
