MESSAGE FROM DEAN

In fact, good initiative taken by EC Dept. I congratulate all of you on
launching E-Magazine. I hope and I am confident through this magazine
EC Department will highlight their best practices.This may become the

platform to bring staff members and students closer to each other in long
run. According to me, through this, EC Dept. will try to bridge the gap

between university Campus and Industry Campus and focuses on the
activities which are related to the holistic development of the students.

Universities and Industries, which for long have been operating in
separate domains, are rapidly inching closer to each other to create

synergies.

Higher education institutions not only contribute skilled human

resources to industries, but also in various intangible ways. The
intersecting needs and mutually interdependent relationship requires

identifying means of further strengthening academia-industry
partnerships. At many places, there is a gap between what academia

offers and what industry needs, so, this gap need to be narrow down.
Through the various chapters and students branches like IEEE, ISTE etc.,

various technical events to be organized. E-Magazine is the best way to
showcase major highlights and various concurrent independent events
happening in the department. I request and urge to come forward with

the unique initiatives you have taken and showcase your talent through
this . My best wishes to all of you for this nice initiative .
