Chapter 10: Return from Enigma – Epilogue
The light from within the City of Enigma slowly dimmed, merging once more with the
surrounding nature. The city, long dormant, now lived in peace, guarded by the values that
had been revived by six brave teenagers.
They walked away from the central chamber, passing towering stone pillars now standing
proud. The air felt lighter, and sunlight streamed through the cracks in the ruins, illuminating
their path.
“It feels… like a dream,” said Tiara, glancing back.
“It’s not a dream,” Nayla replied. “We really went through all of it.”
Raka looked at his hand. The wound that once ached was now just a faint scar. “I feel like…
we’re not the same people anymore.”
They arrived at the mouth of the cave where their journey had begun. As they stepped
outside, the forest that once seemed dark now felt welcoming. Birds chirped, and the golden
rays of sunset greeted them.
Gilang turned to Adit. “What about you?”
Adit lowered his gaze, then looked at each of them. “I know I made a lot of mistakes. But if
you’ll let me… I want to fix things. Starting now.”
Farel smiled and patted his shoulder. “No one’s perfect, Dit. But now we know who we can
count on.”
They walked the path home. There were no medals, no spotlight. But they knew that what
they carried was far more valuable—lessons about the values that shape a true human being.
A few days later, they gathered on a small hill overlooking the Enigma cave. They planted six
small trees, one for each value. A symbol that their journey had ended… and would always be
remembered.
“What if the city is opened again someday by someone else?” Tiara asked.
“Let’s hope they have hearts like ours,” Nayla replied.
The evening breeze blew gently. The sun slowly dipped beneath the horizon, closing their
adventure—for now.
But beneath the roots of the earth and within the silent old stones, the City of Enigma
remains… waiting for a new generation to discover the true light.
