Treatment Alternatives
• The treatment objective for the maxilla included altering the vertical
position through posterior impaction.
• For this, surgical option was possible since growth was complete.
• But patient was reluctant for any major surgical procedure.
• The only other effective option was of implant
supported posterior intrusion.
