Commentary
The terminology of phase I or interceptive
treatment can often be misleading.
In this case, the posterior crossbite was corrected,
as well as the implementation of anterior space
closure.
In most circumstances, space closure is not
considered interceptive treatment, but
was performed at the request of the parent.
