HISTORY
2010
After 25 years in senior management and executive roles, Euan McGlashan formed McGlashan Hospitality as a
bespoke, highly personalised hospitality development and management company. McGlashan Hospitality quickly grew
to 8 hotels under management.
2012
Euan and long-time friend and Investment Banker / M&A Expert, Steve Cesinger, operating as Valor Investment
Partners, merged their respective operations to form Valor Hospitality Partners.
2012
Brandon Hatfield joined Valor as Principal & CFO.
2012
Valor began representing Marathon Asset Management in Hospitality Management in the USA. Valor then operated
11 hotels in the USA portfolio.
2013
Valor went to the UK to underwrite the purchase of the original Queens Moat House Hotels (QMH) portfolio of hotels
for Marathon with a view to operate, upgrade, renovate and significantly enhance the assets following the purchase.
2013
Lifelong friends Euan, Tony Romer-Lee and Michael Pownall formed PMR Hospitality Partners as an African based
Management Company to serve sub-Saharan Africa.
2014
Valor formed a UK/European division (Valor Europe) in connection with Marathon’s acquisition of the QMH hotel
portfolio. Valor Europe acquired and rationalised QMH’s in-house management operation and established an
operating platform to develop and manage assets across Europe.
2014
Valor hired highly respected industry operator and business leader Brian McCarthy, previously COO of DeVere Hotels
and Resorts as Managing Director of Valor Europe.
Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is a privately-held, Georgia LLC, which is 100% owned by Valor Hospitality Holdings, LLC (“Holdings”). Holdings is an investment firm
which, in addition to ownership of Valor Hospitality Partners, invests directly in hotel properties and other hotel operating companies, including joint ventures located in
the United Kingdom, South Africa and Thailand. Holdings is majority owned by Valor Hospitality Partners Holdings LLC, a privately-held Georgia LLC which is owned
by Euan McGlashan, Steve Cesinger and Brandon Hatfield.
