Non-Clinical Areas
RECEPTION AREA
The reception area is comprised of a front
desk where administrators attend to business
operations and patient care, as well as a
comfortable seating area for patients to wait
for their appointments. The reception area is
the first and last place a patient will visit
when coming in for an appointment and
therefore a positive image must be
displayed. The reception area should be
clean, organized, and provide a welcoming
and comfortable environment to patients.
The space should be wheelchair accessible FIGURE 1.5 RECEPTION AREA

information with patients.
