I n d e p e n d e n c e D a y

The Independence Day has a special place in the
heart of every Indian. Not only does it symbolizes
the celebration of wonderful years of freedom but
also extends an emphatic messagQe of the
progressive future of our country. The 77th
Independence Day of our motherland India, was
celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour by
young KGians of SBSM. The little ones paid their
respect to the country by the theme 'Unity in
Diversity' which was depicted in the PreKG and LKG
dance and through the UKG skit which enthralled
everyone present. This event was full of patriotism
and enthusiasm that kindled a sense of love for our
country within the children. It also reminded us of the
immense sacrifices of those who gave up their lives
for the freedom.

We see shapes everywhere in our surroundings.
"Saavy Shapes Day" was celebrated on 08.09.23
(Friday) for the children of PreKG to develop and
deepen their knowledge about shapes.The display
board was filled with various geometric
shapes.Fine-motor and Gross-motor activities like
shape sorting, stamping the favourite shape using
sponge, shape matching activity, Finding the right
shape etc., was conducted.Few children
disguised like a chessboard, photo frame, flag,
mobile phone, clock, sail boat, sign board, sun
etc., and spoke two lines about the
shape.Children were able to relate the objects
around them with respective shapes.
