Competent Person & Business System Set up
This is for new companies who have not yet started to create their system or need an upgrade. Silk Safety Ltd will create, and develop your starter system which will be in accordance with the HSE guidance document HSG65 for smaller businesses or ISO 45001:2018 when you are ready. The benefits of ensuring your business becomes accredited to International Standards such as
ISO 45001:2018 will be discussed later in this document. The importance of creating your H&S management system correctly from the outset should immediately provide your company, its Board of Directors, your leaders and employees and just as importantly your clients and customers, with the reassurance that your company is committed to a professional standard of compliance.
This Service includes-
A one-one consultation so that we can fully appreciate the nature of your business and your services
from the outset, this will ensure that all advice and information we provide is relevant for your business.
A gap analysis may be necessary to establish what level of support the company has already and what format the system has taken at this time. We will then suggest a basic package of information to be stored and used in accordance with the company’s current systems.
Creating a bespoke health & safety management system and providing training in how to use, update and manage the system. The system will include focus on the key statutory legal instruments that
may affect your business.
A programme for roll-out will be submitted after the initial consultation, which will be depending on the size and complexity of the organisation. Regular updates will be provided at all times during this process.
