 HELPFUL POINTERS
PAYROLL
Please submit all timesheets on the 22nd of each month using the QR code.
Our payroll runs from the 23rd of a month to the 22nd of a month: you will be paid for this period. We pay at the end of the month as we use an external payroll company to submit the information on the 23rd. The Finance Manager and team have one day to prepare, check and submit payroll to ensure you get paid on time. So don’t be late.
Remember your tax code is decided by the HMRC, meaning that only they can help if you have an issue with your tax code. Remember, being employed, you pay tax and NI but also get holiday pay. So if you have earnt the holiday pay, remember to claim it by telling filling in your timesheet.

       TIME OFF
To take time off you must use the QR code below and give us 2 weeks' notice. We will respond within 48 hours, so until you have had your time off confirmed, we advise you not to book anything.
HOLIDAY PAY
After 28 days. The holiday period lasts from 1st January to 31st December and holiday is accured as you work. You cannot claim holiday if you have not accured it. The Finance Department monitor holiday so please contact them directly for your holiday allowance information and inform them if you are claiming holiday pay.
TIME OFF
    TRAVEL TO AND FROM CLIENTS’ HOMES
Ranger Home Care DO NOT pay travel to and from a clients home. However, we will pay travel if you are on an assignment and asked to move to another client, of if you are travelling between clients. Please keep your receipts and make sure you have prior approval from the Finance Department before claiming travel costs.
YOUR BELONGINGS
You are welcome to bring your possessions with you, but only bring what you need. You may be travelling on a train and taxi so will need to be able to carry your belongings. We also don’t want the clients to feel you are taking over their homes. Only travel with essentials, you have to be able to carry your belongings and we have to be able to fit them in a car. Please note we cannot legally store any items for you either in the clients’ homes or in the office. Your items, your responsibility so take them with you. Don’t forget you may not return for some reason, so don’t leave anything behind, if you do then you risk not having it returned.
