In English we don't use THE for everything, as we do in Spanish.
En inglés no usamos THE para todo, como lo hacemos en español.
E.g.:
The puma = El puma
Glass = El vidrio
The owers = Las ores
When It is clear which To refer to something which
person/thing we mean, was already mentioned.

With adjectives that are used to
To refer to things/places refer to a whole group of people.

The moon (la luna) In the phrase the same.
