Of course, an evacuation would only be suggested if conditions were or expected to become life-threatening. For less threatening scenarios, sand bags will be made available. There will be bags available at the fire station after 9AM on Saturday, but you would need to fill them and place them yourself. At 1PM on Wednesday, a sandbag machine, sand, and personnel for assisting in filling the bags will be at the Park across from Sue’s Antiques.
The next Flood Planning Meeting will be that evening, Wednesday, July 3rd at 6PM in the Community Center.

As of the last official report the Silver Fire has consumed 125,757 acres. 45% contained.
