egg sales rose 9.9% y/y to 844mn units and its egg export volume plunged 21.4% y/y to 209mn units in 9M21. Its shell egg prices jumped 38.2% y/y to $0.076/unit in 9M21. The company processed 376mn eggs (a 18.1% drop y/y) and sold 2.51 kt dry egg products (up 4.2% y/y), including 1.70 kt sold for export (flat y/y) in 9M21. The sales of liquid egg product increased 7.5% y/y to 10.23 kt and export volumes dropped 18.3% y/y to 2.88 kt in 9M21. In 3Q21, the company’s egg production decreased 4.5% y/y to 423mn units (or almost flat qoq). Shell egg sales rose 2.2% y/y to 284mn units (flat qoq) and export volumes declined 33.0% y/y to 65mn units (or 18.8% lower qoq) in 3Q21. The average price of shell eggs jumped 46.2% y/y to $0.070/unit (or 1.6% lower qoq) in 3Q21.

Nova Poshta doubled its net profit. In January-September 2021, Nova Poshta increased its net profit 2.3 times compared to the same period last year to ₴2.1 bln ($87.5) from ₴906 mln ($34.5 mln). Nova Poshta's net income for the reporting period amounted to ₴14.7 bln ($559 mln) which is 25.4% more than in January-September last year, ₴11.7 bln ($445 mln).
Nova Poshta, Ukraine’s largest express delivery company, plans launch its own cargo airline next year. Called Supernova Airlines, the company plans to start with two leased jets flying out of Kyiv and Lviv. “Traffic volumes are constantly growing and we need to master new horizons,” company CEO Yuri Benevitsky said in a statement. Back in 2017, Nova Poshta co-founder Vladimir Popereshnyuk talked of the company “using its aviation and deliver parcels directly from America and China.”
Nova Poshta invests UAH 1 bln ($38 mln) in the construction of a sorting terminal near Boryspil airport. Speaking with Interfax-Ukraine, Oleksandr Bulba, the company's CEO, said that “The new terminal will include the most advanced technologies of world postal logistics and will be able to sort up to 100,000 parcels per hour." According to Bulba, the total area of the terminal will be 35,000 square meters and will be Nova Poshta Global sorting station for international shipments, internal fulfillment, parcel and cargo hulls with a high level of automation and robotics.
Ukrtelecom increased revenues by 7% in the nine months of 2021.
Ukrtelecom's revenue for the first nine months amounted to more than UAH 5 bln ($190 mln), which is 7% more than the same period in 2020, reported Ukrtelecom. At the same time, EBITDA is almost UAH 1.6 billion, which is 17% more than in the same period last year. Revenues from the provision of Internet and data services continue to grow. In the first nine months of 2021, they amounted to almost UAH 1.63 billion, which is 5% more than a year ago. In general, the number of optical internet users from Ukrtelecom increased by almost 70% over the year to more than 230,000.
The Rada yesterday ratified a €63mn low interest EBRD loan to Ukrposhta to install new mail sorting equipment and to service villages with mobile post offices.
