     new position in the parliament.
Thirty-eight Ukrainian politicians are named in the Pandora Papers, including President Zelenskiy himself. In fact, Ukraine had more politicians pop up in the leak than any other country in the world (Russia took second place with 19). For many, these revelations are at odds with the anti-corruption platform that brought Zelenskiy and his team power. That said, not all of the financial activities outlined in the Pandora Papers are necessarily illegal. Indeed, the ability to capitalize on legal loopholes is what makes the offshore service industry the booming business it is today.
  2.3 Polls & Sociology
The presidential Servant of the People Party slipped in the latest Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) poll to the level of former president Poroshenko’s European Solidarity Party. The poll, released on Oct. 19, shows that European Solidarity slipped from 17.4% in mid-September to 15.7% in 15-18 October, while the Servant of the People Party slipped from 20% to 15.5% of those who knew who they would vote for. Furthermore, the Fatherland Party rose from 10.8% to 13.6% approval and the pro-Russian Opposition Platform - For Life Party rose from 10.8% to 13.0%. Only the Servant of the People rating breaks new ground in recent KIIS polls. The drop coincides with decreased support for President Zelensky, and while the party may lose support due to its own actions in the parliament, it’s rise will depend on his popularity. There is little coming in the very near future to use to pull the incumbent party’s rating up significantly, unless passing a budget with a deficit that fits the IMF’s vision could count.
More than half of unvaccinated Ukrainians want to stay that way,
according to a new study published on November 3 by the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF). Only 42.3% of unvaccinated Ukrainians want to get the shot while 54.6% don’t and 3.1% responded that it’s hard to say. However, the study found that 60% of Ukrainians have a positive attitude towards vaccination and 62% agree that inoculation is necessary. Right now, less than 20% of Ukrainians are fully vaccinated; 25% have received the first of two shots.
A poll by the Razumkov Centre over October 14-20 shows current President Volodymyr Zelenskiy slipping in absolute terms, though he would still win the presidency if a vote were held today. He fell from 20% support among all voters in January 2021 to 17% now, pravda.com.ua reported on October 26. Other significant drops include former president Petro Poroshenko, from 12% down to 9%, and pro-Russian OPZh party leader Yuri Boyko, dropping from 13% to 7%. The only figure to gain substantially is recently ousted Verkhovna Rada speaker Dmytro Razumkov, who found favor with 6% of voters, as opposed to 2% at the beginning of the year.
Only 28.2% of Ukrainians approve of President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s performance, according to a new study published on November 2 by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.
About one third of respondents say that Zelenskiy met their expectations in whole (31.1%) or in part (4.3%). Almost half of the respondents answered that he did not meet their expectations. Another 14.2% say they never had any hopes for Zelenskiy.
Compared to a similar poll in July 2021, the figures have hardly changed. At the time, Zelenskiy had the approval of 29.3% of respondents and the disapproval of 56.1%.
