export duty on oil and petroleum products from 30% to zero in the period from 2019 to 2024 and a proportionate increase in MET.
4.2  Inflation
In January 2019 the consumer goods and services inflation was 0.9% m/m against December 2018 and 5.8% y/y against January 2018 , representatives of the National Statistics Committee of Belarus told   BelTA .
In January 2019 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.7% in comparison with December 2018.
In January 2019 food prices went up by 1.3% from December 2018, by 6.2% in comparison with January 2018. Non-food prices grew by 0.7% from December 2018, by 3.7% from January 2018. The index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totalled 100.3% as against December 2018, 107.8% as against January 2018.
