“Over the past six months, intensive negotiations have been held with GEO Hospitals management. We are considering the acquisition of clinics existing in the GEO Hospitals network for €20mn and we will provide more details about this matter to the public in the near future,” the PSP Group stated.
GEO Hospitals is a network of clinics founded in 2011. The clinics are located in five regions of Georgia: Kvemo Kartli, Imereti, Mtskhtea-mtianeti, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kakheti.
PSP Group has been operating on the Georgian market for 24 years. It imports medicines, cosmetics and disinfectants and distributes throughout Georgia. In 2000, the company started drug production within its daughter company GMP. Medicines produced in Georgia are already exported to more than 10 countries.

German company AE SOLAR has opened a factory in Georgia’s third largest city of Kutaisi to produce solar panels that it expects to export to the European Union, US and Middle East, Agenda.ge reported .
AE SOLAR is one of the world’s leaders in producing solar panels. Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said that its plant was an important foreign direct investment for Georgia.
“While attracting foreign direct investments, we should be oriented to high-tech production with export potential which helps Georgia position itself as a high-tech production country,” Bakhtadze said.
The factory will employ 300 people.
Bakhtadze also announced that “during the coming weeks” the construction of a new factory that will produce electric cars will start in Kutaisi.
