Export options
Officials in Abuja are talking up plans to export gas via pipelines to Morocco
and Algeria and in the form of LNG.
Funding arrangements
The East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline consortium expects to wrap up all
arrangements for the funding of its $4bn project by the end of November.
Output decline
Tullow Oil has reported a fall in first-half production largely owing to a 15-
day shutdown of the Jubilee facility in Ghana.
FPSO complete
Senegal and Mauritania have completed the floating production, storage and
offloading unit that will be installed at the Greater Tortue/Ahmeyim block.
