       Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum
       Resources Chief Timipre Sylva hosted the Span-
       ish Minister for Foreign Affairs Jose Manuel
       Albares and decision makers of the Spanish oil
       and gas sector to a business meeting.
         The objective of the meeting is to discuss
       modalities for the implementation of signed
       agreements between the two Countries. The
       bilateral agreement covers areas of investment
       opportunities in the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
         The CEO of NUPRC Gbenga Komolafe
       informed the delegation that the visit is very
       timely and appropriate in terms of investment
       opportunities, as the Commission on the behalf
       of the Federal Government has launched the
       2022 Mini Bid Round exercise for deep offshore
       fields and the Nigerian Gas Flare Commercial-
       isation Programme among other opportunities
       that exist in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
