The China top-ranked photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer, Talesun Solar, has announced that it has signed a sales agreement with Cengiz Energy, a subsidiary of Cengiz Holding, one of the largest Turkey energy investment companies for solar PV products, PV Magazine ​reported​, adding that the deal will produce the largest and first hybrid power plant in Turkey.
The deal is reportedly “for 130 MW PV module shipment for a separate 80 MW SPP + Hydroelectric Power Plant in Bingol, Turkey as Hybrid Power Plant and 50 MW Solar Power Plant for self-consumption project in Konya, Turkey”.
According to the Bloomberg report “Q2 2020 Global PV market outlook”, the annual PV installation of Turkey will reach to 760 MW in 2020 and 1.4 GW in 2021.

Erdemir is ​targeting​ sales of 8.5mn tonnes of products this year and an Ebitda margin between 16% and 18%.
Erdemir’s net debt stood at $769mn as of end-June, up from $528mn at the end of 2019.
Turkey’s steel consumption dropped to 26mn tonnes last year from 31mn tonnes in 2018 while its production fell to 34mn tonnes from 39mn tonnes.
In the first six months of the year, the country’s steel consumption moved up 2.4% y/y to 16.8mn tonnes while consumption increased nearly 9% y/y to 13.4mn tonnes.
